The academic work entitled “Türkiye and Austria in the 21st Century,” edited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Soytürk, a member of our faculty, and published by Tectum Verlag, has been released.
This work examines the bilateral relations between Türkiye and Austria in depth from the perspectives of politics, society, and transnational connections. The foreword to the study has been enriched by valuable contributions from the Turkish Ambassador to Vienna, Dr. Gürsel Dönmez. In his text, the ambassador comprehensively addresses the historical roots of relations between the two countries and their strategic importance today.
Subject experts from the Department of Political Science and International Relations: Dr. Ayhan Sarı, Dr. Dominic Heinz, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Onur Ercan, Research Assistant Ozan Emin Halhallı, and editor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Soytürk have contributed their original work to this publication, which fills existing gaps in research on the diaspora and diplomacy. By combining historical analysis with current data, it offers academics and decision-makers new perspectives for future cooperation opportunities.
