Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaur Gasimov, a faculty member of our department, participated in the program titled “The Intertwined History of Azerbaijani Culture in the 20th Century” organized by the History Club of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. At the program, which was also attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Aksakal, a faculty member of the İZÜ History Department, and his students, Gasimov discussed the limitations of the national historical perspective in historical writing and the formation of Azerbaijani culture.
