Associate Professor Dr Ebru Turhan Elected to the Executive Committee of the University Association for Contemporary European Studies

Associate Professor Dr Ebru Turhan, faculty member in the Department of Political Science and International Relations, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES), the UK-based leading international academic association in the field of European Studies, through the votes of members from around the world. As the only academic from Turkish universities elected to the Executive Committee, Associate Professor Dr Ebru Turhan will particularly work within UACES on strengthening the representation of scholars based outside the EU and Europe, and institutions in the Global South, as well as on further diversifying the perspectives and voices that shape the discipline of European Studies.
